Another accident has unfortunately highlighted the need for a crossing on Shortwood Road near the Homefield Road turning. Shortwood Road is very busy and the nearest crossing is past Post office in the village. It's seems odd that there is housing for old folk there and a bus stop opposite but no easy way for them to get across. Please sign and lets get as crossing put in and slow the traffic though our village down
