We the residents of Fountains Of Westchase Apartments, located 3600 Woodchase Dr Houston, TX 77042, a property owned and managed by Cres Management, wish to make public our group petition to ask for the resignation of C. Roberson, the current Office Manager based on the following principals: We file this complaint in the light of many behavioral practices she has implemented, which not only at times bend the law, but are clear violations of regulatory procedures of management. Our first complaint is the obvious and admitted racial profiling. Ms. Roberson has said to tenants, more specifically to the African-American residents, that she "doesn't like black people", and referred to residents as "those people". Many witnesses have confirmed this. Ms. Roberson does not dress to represent a Property Manager, and is not the dress that we as residents wish to be represented by. Daily, she wears "club clothes", inappropriate footwear,and low cuts tops exposing herself. One dress in particular is bright leapord print, low cut where the bra is exposed, and skirt uncomfortable short. She uses this "sexy dress" to manipulate the male residents, asking for personal and private information on other residents in exchange for her flirtatious attention. Its inappropriate, unprofessional, offensive, and unacceptable to us as residents. Ms. Roberson has implemented many "rules" that are neither in our leases, the property rules, or law. She has threatened legal consequences for non-legal issues; for example, she has implemented a "no-smoking policy" policy in the open out door walk ways, with the expressed consequences being issued a ticket by a HPD officer, who accompanies her throughout the complex (Which leading sources would like to note a sexual relationship between these two is the motive). There is no law that automatically prohibits smoking in an outdoor apartment complex, it is not listed anywhere in the property guidelines that there is no smoking, neither are there No-Smoking signs posted anywhere in the complex. Not to mention, there is a tall metal ash tray posted in front of the back door of the office, which is in an open out-door walkway, only feet from the pool entrance, the gym entrance, and apartment unit front doors. Due to the confrontational attitude she exhibits with all tenants and fellow employees, she has created a hostile and harshly negative environment, where her safety may be at risk. It is not nearly coincidence she has her own personal body guard when she travels the property. She has created much bad blood between residents and ruined the management-tenant relationship for countless occupants. Not only have many threatened to move out, she has confirmed it with, "If you don't like it, then move". Our point is, that tenants are customers. We fulfill our legal obligations. Yes there are those here that cause trouble, but no complex is without that. We deserve to be innocent until proven guilty, and offered the standard of living that Cres Management, and The Fountains of Westchase promise their residents- before they have a contract or the money. If Ms. Roberson is unwilling to resign, after hearing our pleas, we ask Cres Management, to consider our complaints and take the appropriate actions. Please replace her with someone who can uphold the values and follow the rules and management with professionalism, as is required by the position.
