Please become part of this petition to criminalize the abuse and neglect of children by their parents who do not support them financially or in any other fashion. If parents are physically able to work, they should be located by authorities, legally arrested, convicted under criminal non-child support laws and placed in a working prison where they can make money to pay their child support payments. The more they owe in arrears, the longer they stay to catch up the payments. These deadbeat parents need to be reformed to understand that their children come first and their personal lifestyle comes last. This would also take an enormous burden off of the government welfare system. In the past, prisons were self sufficient and use to earn money. We need to return to this standard of working to pay for your debt to your child and everyone concerned.
