Im tired of us being charged a weeks pension for going 3 mph over the speed limit, 1 sec too early at a stop sign, people being jailed for life for looking at virtual pictures causing absolutely no real life harm, etc. but yet a convicted murderer gets probation. Illegal gun toters get probation. Please change these petty crimes, not to exceed ten percent of a criminals weekly pension. Guess what when a person drives over 20 mph and kills someone charge them with that when it occurs. All these premeptive laws are not rational and do not fit these current crime. For example people say stop signs are expensive bc if they run a stop sign they could seriously injure someone. Well thats a differrent charge than just running a stop sign. Why dont we start getting charged for the crimes we actually commit instead of paying hefty fines to the state for those imaginary never occuring incedents looming in the caves, ie never happen, but we pay a charge like its happening. Gov scam. Petty traffic laws should not exceed 10 percent of a weekly paycheck. If a person chooses to run a stop sign and kill another driver your going to tell me that an extra 100 dollars on the ticket will save their life all of a sudden?
