Petition To Supervisor Chris Daly: Stop Playing Politics With Public Safety

Petition To Supervisor Chris Daly: Stop Playing Politics With Public Safety Petition Sponsored By Rob Black, Candidate For Supervisor, San Francisco This petition asks Supervisor Chris Daly to stop playing politics with public safety. A crime wave is occurring on Supervisor Chris Daly\'s watch. Thirty percent of the city\'s crimes occur in his district, District 6. There is two-and-a-half times more crime in District 6 than in any other supervisor\'s district. And Daly has done almost nothing to address this critical problem. Now, to make matters worse, Chris Daly is blocking Mayor Gavin Newsom\'s request for $2.5 million in crime-fighting funds. (San Francisco Chronicle, October 19, 2006) Enough is enough. We, citizens of San Francisco, are signing this petition to ask Supervisor Chris Daly to stop playing politics with public safety. Chris Daly: Public safety is too important to be used as a political football. Please stop blocking the Mayor\'s $2.5 million in crime-prevention funds. Signed: Rob Black Ethics attorney, labor organizer, candidate for San Francisco District 6 Supervisor
