We have as many as 20 Teams interested to play cricket and we have more enthusiasts coming to Albany/Schenectady/Clifton park every year. I am sure many of us work forNY State projects.We have no designated grounds to play on.

We play on hard tennis courts, play on base ball fields, play on basket ball courtsgiven those are not occupied. We are never far away from playing on a empty parking lots which are more injury prone.

There are so many of us interested in the game and we are DENIED the grounds. My club(ECC) president have been trying to get a ground from CLIFTON Park for our team from the past 2 years and he was not granted one. There are many people like us who have the interest and skill to play the game and not able to play because of lack of the FACILITIES here in upstate.

We organized a Cricket Tournament in Summer 2014 and we have 18 teams 15 persons in the each team roster is a overwhelming response to us. We organize this in Guilderland Public Park where we are not given permissions to make suitable CRICKET playing conditions. Still we played on the most difficult conditions provided, more often than not someone of us get injured & we never stopped playing it.Such is our LOVE towards the game.Please find the link below for details of the teams, stats of the tournament.

We sincerely urge to Build at least couple of Grounds that have perfect cricket playing conditions here in Upstate(Albany/Schenectady/Clifton Park). We are very Hopeful to have some good news soon.
