719 Linda BuishasI am appalled by the ignorance evidenced by this article. I believe a true professional investigates before stating something DOES NOT exist. The ability to do research is obviously not a skill he possesses. I am 100% french-creole and I support the efforts of all seeking to have the Creole Culture acknowledged and included in the history books.
720 Marion I. FerreiraYes, the Creole Culture is still alive and well. But if we as Creoles do not support it and the many organizations that do, it will go out of existence.
721 Laurie WinstonI, nor do any member of my family, resemble a leprechaun, nor any thing like that. We are proud Creole and I take offense to any suggestion that we are not real. Where I live, in Northern California, I am constantly explaining to blacks and whites alike why I look the way I do. I am so tired of this and fully support the education of a history that has been forgotten.
722 Shantika Ford-SewellMy Grandmother is creole and my dad is of creole decent..We are a race and should be acknowledge as one.

726 Larry Dean DanielMy dad Joe Daniel was of creole/Indian descent
727 Phyllis Faye DanielMy parents are Joe Daniel and Edith Mae Hall Ford, Joe Daniel was a creole.

734 sonya randallI have a creole background from my grandparents. I would love for you all to keep the program because I want to learn more behind my background and to be able to access them. I think this opportunity will not just benefit me but hundreds of students across Louisiana.
735 Brook Gonzalesi support the cause one hundred percent. It is something that need to be heard and we have the voice to stand up.

750 Maria Baham PerraultBorn in Madisonville, LA, a little town that my ancestors founded and named "Coquille".
