Name: Kevin Biggs on Apr 15, 2008Comments: Without houses being sold and the interest rate kept at a reasonable level for people to get motgages ( the lenders included) the whole British ecomony will fall into stale mate and crash. Like a ripple effect everyone will be affected and houses will be lost in mass repossessions. On another note police, crime and the justice system. Please build more prisons and lock certain people who commit crimes against children and women away for life, never to get out of prison again. These people are sick or evil or both and should not and can not be trusted once they have commited such crimes. If you are a Christian protect the children.Flag

Name: Andy Park on Apr 15, 2008Comments: I would say that there are alot of people struggling out there at the moment because of this crisis. I feel it is time to do something, however this is easier said than done. There are so many problems at the moment, but one thing that would make a big difference is getting mortgage lenders to lend and making sure that TCF is adheared to. This means not pulling products with little or no notice and not allowing lenders to change criteria at the drop of a hat. Where have the FSA being through all of this what have they done. The government are happy to use tax payers money to help NR but what about all the taxpayers, Who is going to help them. Lenders have alot of power however there is also power in numbers and there are many brokers and packagers out there that want to help the public, so lets put pressure on the lenders and the government to do something before it gets worse.Flag

Everyday I see Lenders scrambling to get to the back of the que to lend money and if they are prepared to lend, it comes with a hefty price.Flag

Interest rates need to drop by at least another 3/4% to help the situation and the Bank of England must step in ASAP.Flag
