IMVU Inc. sold the registration of your avatar name with the stipulation it allowed you to join the creators program...they have now decided to go back and not allow anyone who didn't actually click the button and sign up not to be able to create unless they join VIP too ( although no time limit was ever specified ) Of course no warning was given as they were afraid that people would buy the name and their plan to create approximately $120.00 a year in new revenue, plus the registration of the name at about $15.00 from each creator would be discovered ...there would be no problem if they were not trying to go back retro-actively, that is illegal. They could have sent a note or email to the people who already owned their names letting them know what was coming and allowing them the time to go and click 3 buttons.... If IMVU wants to change the policy that is their right....but not retro-actively...it can only start from the day they implemented it .... May 10th 2012...everyone who paid for their name prior to that date also paid for the right to be a member of the creator program....if they don't want to allow them to be in the program then they need to be given the option of a refund.
