We the undersigned are not happy with some recent changes happening at Crawley Town FC. First the lack of sufficient turnstiles for the new East Stand, justtwo turnstiles for up to 2145 spectators, whereas the Bruce Winfield stand has four turnstiles for up to 1100 spectators. the queue for the East Stand takes up to half an hour to get in. Second the new parking restrictions around the ground, imposed without due notice or consultation, we feel that the club would not have made sufficient objection on behalf of fans, they must have been consulted. Third, the new smoking ban announced to take effect on 2nd October. when we bought our season tickets we bought them on the conditions pertaining to teh ground at the time, with the promise of having a smoking area. There are sufficent fans who smoke to show that it is needed. The main points of congestion in the area are the queues for the burger van and the toilets. the smokers have been told to stay to one side, boxed into a small area. we propose to boycott the next home cup tie and the Redz bar in protest, since any season ticket holders have already paid for home league games it would not hit the club to boycott those games. we will also look into the option of surrendering our season tickets to get a refund, on the grounds that the club has changed th econditions upon which it was purchased.
