There have been several incidents this summer alone where Crains Creek Volunteer Fire Department have been the first on scene where vehicle extrication equipment was needed, but the first responders had to wait for the mutual aid of another fire station to arrive with the proper gear. These precious minutes can mean the difference between life and death. The money to purchase has been generously donated by both the members of the department and the surrounding community, but for unknown reasons the public officials in Moore County will not allow the department to purchase the much needed life saving gear. Please sign the petition urging the county to allow Crains Creek Volunteer Fire Department to purchase the life saving vehicle extrication equipment.
