Victoria Park, Calverley is used almost daily by Parkside Primary and is now categorised as "a community park regularly used by a primary school". Irresponsible dog owners within our community continue to have a detrimental impact on the parks usage with dog fouling and anti-social behaviour causing many residents to have limited access of our beloved park. For years many residents have hoped to solve these issues but sadly today the problem continues to drive a wedge within our community and the problem still exists. The council are presently reviewing dog control management within the park with the view to impose a dogs on lead order to protect the safety of our children.
