Michael Babcock | i'm getting nextel, switching from verizonwireless today. Yes, the lg phone gives me accessibility, but i would love it so much if nextel would let me have accessibility, and be able to use PTT...
Yvonne Britton | I am not a customer of Sprint but I am a visional ly impaired person and I wish That you would help me to get the people from Embarq. I have not checked with them about this but I will on the next business day.

jane bergenstein | Yes, I agree that people who have visual impairments require the same access to usable technology that is enjoyed by people without visual impairments.
| 87 | LLoyd Campo | I, too, am very frustrated with Sprint's ignoring of their blind customers. I am going to contact Triumphonics tomorrow about the screenless phone and make the switch to a more responsive carrier.

Rick Alfaro | I currently have 3 phones on my account with Sprint. Although I am pleased with Sprint services generally speaking, it is a real hardship to have to pay an additional $525 just to make my PPC6700 accessible with speech output. Between the price I paid for the PPC6700 and the talking software I'm in about $1000 for an accessible phone. Since other carriers are now offering either special insentives for their visually impaired customers, or at least phones with true accessibility built in, I may be forced to take my business else where if Sprint is unwilling to address this issue. Surely, there is something that can be done and it is my sincere hope that Sprint will do something to demonstrate that there truly is some sort of commitment regarding accessibility for its visually impaired customers.
