The College of Wooster gives merit scholarships based on information from your high school years. College students deserve to be awarded based on their current performance. The College of Wooster should reevaluate current students' merit aid on a yearly basis, using the same system they currently use, with the most up-to-date information from their college performance. Additionally, the College Scholar award should be available to any student that meets the criteria necessary to be awarded this scholarship upon entry. Recipients should be determined annually based on the most current data (This would be similar to an Honors program that many colleges already have). A signature on this petition is your declaration stating that you believe that merit scholarships should be reevaluated annually.
