The city council officially approved the Country Club Creek Trail plans today. I honestly never imagined this would actually happen but you proved that this community truly cares about our future. Join us in helping Country Club Creek Trail become a reality!
• The CCC Trail will help all of south east and east central Austin access major parks and trails in the city
• Its completion is one of the most important steps for the economic revitalization of this area• Upon completion, it will connect to the Town Lake Trail
• Town Lake Trail goes east to Austin Community College and the 183 bridge; west to Auditorium Shores, Zilker Park, Barton Springs, Barton Creek Greenbelt, Deep Eddy Pool, Waller Creek Trail to UT, and Shoal Creek Trail
• Over 2,000 apartment and condo units south of Riverside will be able to access the shopping center and Park via the Riverside pedestrian trail and underpass
• Why else should you sign?
- Trails through the city will reduce car-traffic and promote well-being!
- People without the means to maintain a vehicle will be able to access resources they need
- Trails reduce crime (Public access increases public vigilance, trails allow patrolling of the area)
This petition will be presented to Austin's City Council.

I am honestly overwhelmed by the support for this trail project so far. If you have a moment today please send the link to a few neighbors so we can reach that hundred mark before the council sees this.

I am the Regional Manager over the apartment community Connection. I'd love to have the trail run the boarder of my property line, as the plan proposes. This is a huge benefit to the development of east Austin. Go Forth With The Trail!!!
The Country Club Trail will be a benefit to ALL users of the hike-and-bike trails. Connecting these sections gives everyone access to parks that may not have been utilized and appreciated. Let's do it!
I want to be able to go to HEB and get groceries on my bike. This needs to be finished!
I have commuted by bicycle from Sunridge Park subdivision to downtown for nearly 25 years. The CCC trail would be very valuable, especially for crossing Riverside Drive.
This trail and its connections offer easy bikle to central Austin and connections to the SE Austin resulting in fewer cars on the road.
