i am getting pissed off paying extra fee,s when i missed a payment yes it was my own fault as i should have payed this tax money on time, but due to the fact i havnt had a wage rise in the past five six years, while the prices of everything has went up, bus fare, rent, electricity, gas, food, i am 47 years old and take £1 or £2 a day to work for my dinner, cant get much for that! few days of work due to illness with no wage for days off i missed a couple of payments to council tax, sheriff officer put 1 a4 letter through my letter box asking for payment and charged me £75 for the letter, i had sent the money owed a few days before, after i contacted and explained id sent the money.. guy says thay got it the same day they arrived it my door and i was still to pay the extra charge because they had put the letter through my door.. so no i have to work 2 days to pay for a piece of a4 paper, how many other people are having this bother? now that charge has been payed wich i think is illegal charge, they now say thay havnt got that payment either so i have another letter (without) the charge saying my wage is now being arrested for the same £75 that iv payed we are being taxed on anything that moves.. how long are we going to put up with this crap from the gov, its time people stood up for there selfs even if it meens going to jail working for nothing is slavery...sign up
