Name: Councillor Darron J. Kendrick on Jan 15, 2012On behalf of: Campbell Park Focus and MK Liberal DemocratsComments: I believe this is just another example of the Conservatives idea of consultation. keep people in the dark, blind with manipulated statistics or deflect attention form it ! Just like their consultation last Tuesday on local electoral form - they proposed that cos it suited them now ! The Parish Boundary review consultation was another Tory whitewash - going against an 87 - 7 majority in Willen preferring the Status Quo (that's a ratio of @ 13:1 in favour of against what they pushed through against the MKC working party's recommendation ! The Tory Deputy mayor taking her chain of office off in the middle of debate to demonstrate her point with her own survey that included a third option of a new Parish that is not in the gift of MKC to do and would have been potentially illegal, joining her votes and those together to create an Alternative vote system her party campaigned hard against last May ! - I believe another example of Tory hypocrisy ! This 10% increase on burials and cremations in MK wont affect the bulk of their voters who have money - but it will to others like the increase in rents, recycling, pest control and bulk rubbish collection - free under the last Lib Dem Council for 10 years ! I hope Milton Keynes' Voters remembers all this next May ! The " I am doing alright, Jack" Tories always look after what matters to them - in MK only the Lib Dems are a real alternative - history shows Lib Dems as the true working person's party - being funded by the unions, whilst procrastinating letting the gap between the haves and the have nots get wider whilst in national power years 1997 - 2010, does not make you a working person's party !Flag

Name: Marianne Chaffe on Jan 17, 2012On behalf of:Comments: my grandson was born on 20.12.2011. 11 weeks early and weighing only 2lbs 9ozs. thankfy=ully he was born at the L&Dunstable hosp as MK is the pits. He is currently undergoing major heart surgery at GOSH, the whole family are distraught and this hidden increase in costs is a despicable money grabbing enterprise on vulnerable people.Flag

Name: Shafina-Zahra Manji on Jan 17, 2012On behalf of:Comments: This is by far one of the most insensitive and selfish things I have seen. Money has become such an issue, it stops people being able to live, grieve, and get on with their lives. It is hard enough having to save up for a child, and when it is lost, you're expected to cough up more money to bury them just because they are under 16! I think that is disgusting and heartless!Flag
