We believe that, due to the misunderstanding and failure to be given a 2nd chance, Corey Smith should be allowed to continue his attendance at Sycamore High School. Errors in communication and the lack of training and guidance in high stress situations has led to 100% of the blame being placed on the student. We believe that the district holds some of that responsibility and should allow Corey the opportunity to rehabilitate his error in judgement and be given the chance to graduate with his high school classmates.
