The "fiscal cliff" situation in Washington, DC makes it abundantly clear that our representatives in Congress are much more interested in jockeying for party support in their reeletion campaigns than they are in solving the problems of this nation. Our founding fathers never intended that serving in Congress should become a career lasting twenty, thirty, or forty years. This petition calls for term limits for all Congressmen. No Senator or Representative should be allowed to serve more than two (2) consecutive terms.
