On behalf of the 7.5 million Americans affected by psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, we are speaking out about the need for more psoriasis research and more progress for a cure. We are ready to put an end to these chronic, painful, disfiguring and life-altering diseases and we need your help.
We respectfully urge you to support and cosponsor S. 1107/H.R. 2033, the Psoriasis and Psoriatic Research, Cure and Care Act. This bipartisan legislation would authorize Congress to restore the funding to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention for psoriasis data collection and also encourages the National Institutes of Health to put more emphasis on interdisciplinary research aimed at finding a cure for psoriatic disease.
This legislation will help advance the research and information about care and treatment for psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis that is so urgently needed. We would very much appreciate your support of S.1107/H.R.2033 and thank you in advance for adding your name to the growing list of cosponsors.
