Name: Anonymous on Jan 13, 2008Comments: The smoking ban has just about ruined the live music business. Organizations lobbying for these bans publicly deny the obvious economic damages that occur to these type of businesses after bans are forced on the owners of these private businesses. They have no concern for the loss of income musicians and club owners have suffered. Professional musicians have become hobbyists and bars are closing left and right....yet we continually hear nothing but denial of these things happening from the smokefree lobbying organizations.Flag

Name: Josie Lipiro on Jan 13, 2008Comments: I live in Colorado, but I wanted to sign this petition to express my dissatisfaction with the implementation of the smoking ban. Tobacco is legal to use, therefore, people have an absolute right to use it. But, SEPARATE nonsmoking AND smoking establishments are the solution. Either leave the owners to their own decision, or provide and option of smoking licenses which would also help in tracking the amount of smoking places, and mandate proper ventialtion as well. Just my opinion as to HOW this issue should be TRULY resolved. Thank you.Flag

Compounding this outrage is the use of junk science, big government and corporate greed to destroy the foundation our country was born upon;private property rights.Flag
