| 152 | Anonymous | I am a 91 year old WWII veteran who worked as a mechanic on the airplanes, worked in intelligence and also fought in Europe in the Army Air Cor. I have my medals and injuries to prove it.
I did NOT spend that time and march thru Europe, putting my life on the line, for the insults of today. I was there for the battle for Freedom, Truth and Honesty giving dumn butts of today the freedom to be idiots.
I have been doing much reading concerning a lot of deception behind the smoking bans and how national (so called) organizations have bought in for greedy funding. These smoking bans and the big money behind them are THE cancer on this earth. The ploy for 'control' goes beyond smoking and I can see it.
There has been a giant treason against the world and unfortunately our politicians of today do NOT seem to have the brains today to figure it out. They are dupped and/or bought and rely on the FUNDERS for their information.
Wake Up! |

| 157 | Rufus Trotman | It seems that the amount of second-hand smoke exposure time required to do significant quoted by the anti-smoking lobby seems to be constantly dropping. The current record is 15 minutes can cause blood clots thus causing heart attacks.
Given that active smokers don't drop dead inside of an hour of smoking (for whom the exposure level would be far higher), this is either:
a) completely made up and being used to scare-monger for the anti-smoking cause
or
b) actually a very subtle advert for tobacco goods (after all, 15 minutes of passive smoking could kill you, but it takes decades (if at all) for active smoking to do it).
My money is on the former option |
| 158 | AwesomeDude | I fully agree. This type of thing should not be allowed to go on in America. I will help in any way I can.

| 164 | Diane Wrobel | Yes, it is time smokers were heard in this one sided war. I am tired of being taxed! Smoking is not a sin, but the corruption behind this war is. I have paid for everything from golf courses to road construction to Congressional vacations. It is time for change and it is time we were heard from too. |

| 171 | Anonymous | This is America. Smoking bans imposed on private property owners (restaurant owners, bar owners, hotel owners, etc.) are fascist. Please have the courage to resist the powerful anti-smoker lobbyists and see their agenda for what it is. |

| 176 | Lisa Mos | Smoking bans are an egregious violation of private property rights. The owner of a venue has the exclusive right to decide whether or not to cater to smokers. |
| 177 | Charles Stanion | Smokers are suffering ostracism, hatred and indignity brought about by deliberate misinformation funded by special interest groups. The public at large is being hoodwinked into fearing and loathing 25% of the population. This situation desperately needs to be examined. |

| 180 | fred krieger | there were 17 world wide studies done on second hand smoke. only three showed any kind of ill effects, and these were so small as to be insignificant. our legislators need to do some reading, and not be spoon fed disinformation. the study that claims 53,000 deaths is the EPA study which has been discredited by every competent reseach group in the country. it was throw out in federal court as totally flawed. |
