Comments: This seems to be the cheapest response to the problem that only really deflects the problem elsewhere. There still remains a problem at the junction with Rhosddu Road and Price's Lane.

Comments: i have lived in rhosddu all my life and the bridge be it a little narrow on remploy side is fine when road users drive with due care and attention, i live new road side and have to drive through bridge daily for work, this is now taking me an extra 25mins due to traffic jams and diversions, this is an unnessesary expense and i am furious that i recieved no pre warning as was said in leader.

Comments: There is a simple answer, build a footpath over the bridge. Your proposal is not only going to infuriate the residents of rhosddu, but build up the already congested roads in town to reach the other side of the bridge. It took me 20 minutes to get to my fathers house just the other side of the bridge, which normally takes less than 3 minutes!! I am assuming that Sainsbury's and the other stores on Plas Coch retail park will be prepared for a loss in trade due to your proposals. The road was recently widened to help the flow of traffic coming from Sainsbury's to town, now it is going to worsen again.

Comments: Wrexham Council should urgently reconsider taking this step. I have not heard of a single person who thinks it's a good idea. Traffic congestion in Wrexham this week has caused huge delays. If changes are really necessary, why not install traffic lights?

Comments: Terrible idea and a terrible waste of money. I run a company in the town and this is causing major headaches as journeys are taking much longer especially at peak times. Grosvenor road, Mold road, Rhosddu road, Powell Road, are all congested and are a nightmare at peak times and this situation will not ease when the one way starts. Why does the council not listein or talk to businesses in the town before embarking on such an idiotic idea where the are other solutions. The council are elected by the people and the majority are opposed to the one way but yet it is happening. I cannot believe I have to pay road tax and council tax to use such badly run and badly maintained roads.

Comments: This is a ridiculous idea, has made traffic congestion worse. Also I read in the evening Leader and have done some research into this, sainsburys who bought the land in conjunction with the Council were to widen that road because they new the road would never be able to cope with that much traffic otherwise sainsburys would not of been given planning permission to build there
