Occupying Central Movement (Umbrella Revolution) is a civil disobedience movement which began in Hong Kong on September 28, 2014. It seriously affect the traffic, economy and international image of HK. There are also different voices about supporting or not supporting the Umbrella Revolution. But I am going to focus on the Children’s right in this conflict. As most of us know, two from three of organizations who organized the umbrella revolution are Hong Kong Federation of Students(HKFSU) and Scholarism. These two organizations are definitely ran by students from different schools. Those students protesters have the equal protection of civil and political rights which means they can have the protection of individuals’ freedom from infringement by the governments. The Hong Kong governments should not be forcing the polices to drive the protesters out by using pepper sprays and tear gases. This will damage the students protesters’ eyes and will make them to take any drastic actions to against the polices. The Hong Kong governments should stop and protect the students protesters who are below the age of eighteen years because they are counted as children, so they have the rights of equal protection of civil and political. I hope the supporters would agree with my statement and support it by signing your name on the petition.Your support can let more people to know about the children’s rights that they should have in this conflict. Thank you.
