They left the 4 way stop up after the detour was completed. It just makes sense. I realize additional signs are needed due to the curves and hills but they will definately be worth the time, effort and money. |

| 732 | ted Karwat | On July 5 2005 my grandchildern and rest of family watched two hospital helicopters use my yard as an evac field for two critically insured people, their injuries a result of a terrible car crash at this intersection. I do not want any of my family, friends, neighbors and/or anyone else to be a victim of that death trap again. Please fix now with a four way traffic light, redesign it eventually after environmental impact studies, or just shut it down and detour traffic. | 733 | MJ Everhart | It is a very dangerous intersection. My own daughter and grandbabies, not to mention my son-in-law on his way to work to Deveraux...go thru there. I remember living at a place once that was the number 1 spot ,in the whole state, for accidents. It was extremely rural and did not even come close to a major intersection. We, as a neighborhood, tried to see that something was done. I remember calling for help and running out at least once a week with blankets, etc. UNTIL ONE DAY.......I put a call out for help but something told me to stay put, I was very pregnant at the time and saw that people were coming to the aid of the victims.....2 children were involved that day....ONE DIED and ONE WAS MAIMED FOR LIFE. What does it take to make people wake up???? |

Senator Rafferty's office contacted me on Mon. 10/22/07 and I was told they will help with this issue in any way they can. And they are doing that. To date I haven't heard a word from Mr. Hennesseys office. Please remember this on election day!! |
