    Comments: I'm ashamed that I live in the only state without a concealed carry law. Come on Illinois, let's get with the program! The criminals already conceal and carry, it's about time the rest of us get on a level playing field. If you can pass a background check and can prove proficency with a firearm, we should have the right to protect ourselves and others.

    Comments: All things considered the law enforcement in our area need time to respond to our request for help. If you are in dire need for protection you must be able to take care of the situation yourself. An unarmed person is no match for an armed felon and must be able to protect their own life and property. The second amendment provides for this but our local law enforcement does not support the people they are tasked to protect. If you can not guaranty our safety then please let us protect ourselfs. ( An armed society is a polite society)
