Comments: I understand that he probably doesn't get to spend much time with his family so maybe you could go just before christmas for a long weekend, or in the new year this year and spend christmas with them next year. Also as they have been invited to yours this year, there's no reason why you can't all be happy. I agree it's his turn to compromise.

Comments: Personally, I would want to be as far away from Gratz as possible. I guess Cornwall is far enough. Tony wants to go - let him, you wanna stay at home - stay at home. Everyone's happy. :-) Especially Tony. Distance makes the heart grow fonder

Comments: As we all know, well, the ones who do, grass loves christmas. All the crap she's got is unreal, including, dare I say this, the bloody xmas jigsaws! So Tony my old tater, you should let her have a merry christmas at home this year, and be happy about it. The family should be joining you or maybe go down to sunny carnwaaall on boxing day or for the new year instead.

Comments: His Parents didn't accept your invitation because they didn't want to leave their grandkids in Cornwall. But don't worry I'm sure they a had a great time without you. It's your husband I feel sorry for. You only get one set of parents and you should cherish them and try to spend as much time with them as possible, especially when they live far away.
