Voice your opinion to the Mayor and City Council of Rock Hill South Carolina. Comporium Communications is charging its customers and outrageous amount for Cable TV and Internet Services. Customers in this area have no other choices for their hardwired cable/telephone and internet services. Other neighboring communities are paying far less for their services and are receiving more channels (both digital and HD), On-Demand, higher internet bandwidth and overall better customer service. They are also receiving low introductory rates for the first 6 months to year. Comporium has also changed their broadcast for basic cable to digital, requiring people to have a cable box (with a monthly charge)to receive the most basic cable channels. This situation needs to be addressed. With the economy in a deep recession it is not the time to be taking advantage of customers. Sign this petition that will be presented to the Mayor and City Council. It will also be forwarded to the FCC to insure that Comporium is not in any FCC violation regarding monopolies.
