To the Speaker and Members of the Legislative Assembly for the Australian Capital Territory

This petition of certain residents of the Australian Capital Territory draws to the attention of the Assembly the proven success of the Belconnen Arts Centre since Stage 1 opened in 2009 and we look forward to the ACT Government completing stage 2 of the Centre as an essential part of Belconnen’s community and culture.

Your petitioners therefore request the Assembly to call on the government to commit to a timeline and funding to complete Belconnen Arts Centre by 2021.
