They are also being disciplined for such things as posting to old threads. If the moderators don't want people posting on old threads, then those threads should have been locked.
The excuses that are being given for these slaps, don't match ANY of the rules for the discussion boards. The moderators are the absolute worse, in all the years that ebay has been providing discussion boards. The discipline is capricious and inconsistent and meted out on the whims of the individual moderators. There needs to be some uniformity in the rules.
We the undersigned, are making our positions known to ebay.

The only posters that are left on the boards are people that talk you down, belittle you. Just because you have a certain political view you are chastised. Most of us that are now banned have been on these boards for years. And a new moderation company comes in and wipes everyone out in one fell swoop. Granted some were a bit radical. But you have some people that respected the board and each other. And yet you just banned them for some stupid reason. . Enough already!!!

I left eBay, removed my account because of the moderation on the eBay boards. You don't deserve my business if you treat me this way.
I would really appreciate it if anyone who is dissatisfied, would point their friends in this direction.
threads are being locked,or moved,or poofed,along with posters disappearing for no reason. posters like me,who did nothing wrong.
The mods follow their own individual agendas. There is no consistency to their actions.
I left the boards several years ago because of moderators. I cannot imagine how it got worse but just a little looking proved that it was worse, This is a real shame.

We have a closed group on Ebay and one of the moderators came in and edited one of my posts. It freaked us out, that's why most of us are talking through facebook now. Not to mention all of the spamming that goes on in the early morning hours for call girls and prostitutes and it takes them forever to remove it. Yet, I'll get a slap for telling someone they've been added to my BBL and my post is removed within minutes. Do a search for how many posts mentions putting someone on their BBL and you'll find a ton still up. Total inconsistency. They don't know what they are doing. I think Ebay went with the lowest bid for the job.
