With the removal of the Dominion game mode, League of Legends has now 3 maps, and 2 of them are actually played, the Howling Abyss and the Summoner's Rift, obviously. Right now, when I press the play button, I don't see a large variety of choices. Blind pick, Draft pick or Ranked Draft pick all lead, in the end, to the same game, and there's only one choice for the ARAM game mode. To stay in the main subject, the removal of Dominion removed from the game the game mode, obviously, but as well some of the only community made games for casual players. I really feel, as a gamer and a League of Legends daily player, that this game really needs some variety, and that a new game mode like URF once a year is not enough. I really think Riot Games focuses too much on the competitive side of their game, and they almost forget that its a game in the first place, and not a sport. The least they could do, in my opinion, is, like in Starcraft II, put an "Arcade" mode, where the players can play a variety of game modes created by the community.
