i personally think i'm a nudist at heart. as weird as that sounds coming from me, i know its true and i'm wondering how many of you feel the same way. nothing is more unique to ourselves than our bodies. nobody else, in the history of anything has looked exactly like you (unless you have an identical twin, and to you if you do, i feel so sorry). clothing is a mask that we all wear for two main reasons that i can find- (1) we're insecure, so we look to improve upon what we look like to other people (2) it protects us from the world and keeps us clean. i think if everyone decided to fuck being so anal about how they looked, we would be alot happier, more confident, abercrombie would go out of business, and all the principals of schools with uniforms would commit suicide. since long ago people decided to wear clothes as more of a decorative ritual than a protective issue, we have changed our clothing choices. i mean, there's quite a difference between victorian era clothing and victoria's secret. we're all alot sluttier. back then, clothing was all you saw. those idiots. now, we see alot more skin, which is fine, considering a typical day in an urban area doesnt really require anything to guard you from the elements. we have buildings for that. but, on pretty days, i think we should all strip and be mindless of how we look. take the 'sluttiness' a step further. i'm not saying we shouldnt ever wear clothing. its handy when the weather is cold or rainy. on nice days, though, there is really not much of a need for it. fuck traditions.
