We, the students of Columbia Southern would like to refute the term assignment submission policy changes. We would like two requests to be honored. The first request is that the Sunday submission deadline be reinstated. Also we request that in the future email surveys should be distributed to the student body before policy changes that greatly affect the student body are made. As working professionals we prefer Sunday submission deadlines. We wanted our voices to heard loud and clear in protest of this policy change. We are optimistic that a medium can be reached.

Bryan Williams, United States5 years ago Comments: I have problems already when my scedule at work changes. It would be hard to change to those dates due to family and a rotating work schedule that could call me in at anytime. I am having enough trouble this term without the change due to working out of town and being short staffed. Leave the submission dates the same some of us do have jobs that demand alot out of us and families that we already do not see much of.

Jacqueline McClinton, United States5 years ago Comments: I have to agree with the other students. Since the majority of us have full-time jobs and families, it is much easier to know that we have the entire weekend to complete and revise our assignments before we turn them in. What about the classes that have other assignments besides the weekly discussion quesions and assessments? Those weeks are a little more hectic than others. What is the reasoning for changing the dates on submission of assignments and for changing the start date for the semester?
