Columbia Academy has a banquet every year toward he end of April, but no prom. This banquet is the closest thing to a prom we have but I don't think that it's close enough. There is no dancing what so ever at the banquet or anything that really could make it a prom. Columbia Academy is the only school that I know of that doesn't have a prom. I propose that we change the banquet into a prom. I think it could be a great thing for the students, and I believe that the students would have more fun. I think it could be a nice formal prom that everyone would enjoy. Obviously there would be chaperons that I imagine would consist of teachers and volunteering parents.
