As you may know, Colorado has more Returned Peace Corps Volunteers (RPCVs) per capita than any other state and has three top-Peace Corps Volunteer producing universities (CU-Boulder, Colorado State University and Colorado College).

We want to join other like-minded organizations by providing an opportunity to show our Peace Corps pride on our vehicles! State statute requires 3000 signatures and legislative support, so we are aiming for 3000 signatures by December 1 just in time for the legislative session to start.

A couple of things you might be asking yourself:

1. When will I get to buy this plate? Our hope is that it will be ready for folks to order for their vehicles approximately a year from now. Once we have the 3000 signatures, we have to gain legislative support and approval. Then we will work with the Division of Motor Vehicles on the design and creation of the plate. We already have permission to use the Peace Corps logo!

2. Why do I have to give you my name and address and county of residence? These are all required by the State. We WILL NOT share your information or use it for any other purpose than this petition. We are using this platform because it is secure. Unfortunately, we are not able to offer a paper petition form at this time but this online system was chosen due to its security features. If you are uncomfortable using this system but still want to support this effort, email Arianne Burger at rpcvcolorado@gmail.com and we'll be sure to keep you informed of any further opportunities to support this effort

Sign our petition to show your support of Peace Corps and its mission abroad and at home. You must be a Colorado resident to sign our petition. Thanks for your support!
