She is an heiress of the Hilton Hotel fortune. Also true..Paris Hilton broke the law ..Paris Hilton was ordered by a judge to report to a county jail by June 5 for violating the terms of her probation in an alcohol-related reckless driving case. In the petition requesting a pardon for Paris, the petitioner made the following statement: We, the American public who support Paris, are shocked, dismayed and appalled by how Paris has been the person to be used as an example that Drunk Driving is wrong. We do not support drunk driving or DUI charges. Paris should have been sober. But she shouldn\'t go to jail, either. I beg to differ with the petitioner. Mrs Hilton\'s celebrity status does not excuse her from obeying the laws that we all are expected to abide by, nor does her status exclude her from paying the consequences for her actions. A Pardon for Paris will surely send the wrong message to America and the world. The Simple Life Goes to Camp is set to debut in May, Hilton and Richie will be working as counselors at Camp Shawnee in the mountains near Los Angeles, as counselors , Paris and Nicole will be training and advising young girls. I shudder at the mere thought of the advice that will be given.
