Cogeco Bandwidth Limit Removal

This petition is being used to make a statement against Cable and Internet Service Provider Cogeco. They run a monopolization over many cities, using their extreme revenue as a way to make sure that other companies can't settle in and start their own service, forcing families of four, all of whom use internet in their daily lives like mine, to choose them as their Phone, Internet, and Cable service, all the while imposing a 60Gigabyte bit limit on their internet service for their "standard package." This petition is to propose that they either: A) Increase the Bandwidth limit to 90 Gigabytes, B) Lower the cost of the Standard Package by twenty dollars a month Hopefully we can amass a threatening number of signatures that Cogeco will do the right thing and make internet more affordable.

3 years ago Comments: Cogeco, I must say my mom has been a customer for many years. And not many more years to come as far as I am concerned, I personally think and must ablige to the fact that we need better internet services. and Cheaper rates. If you fail to perform these tasks being held against you. Me and many other people will terminate our contracts with your horrible services.

4 years ago Comments: I spend over $200.00 a month with Cogeco...and have been with them for over 8 years now. When I signed up there were no limits placed on my bandwidth...how can they break their original agreement with me? Even if it is "legal" it certainly isn't ethical? I'm thinking Bell in the near future...I don't like them much either, but feel compelled to at least give another company a shot...I also don't understand why our government only allows one cable ISP to operate in our territory..no competition = screw us all you want!
