Early Wednesday morning, Treyarch and Activision released Patch 1.05 to correct the pressing problems affecting the PS3 version of Call of Duty: Black Ops.

As reported, after Patch 1.04, PS3 owners have had problems with connections, game freezes and crashes while playing the popular shooter.  Some gamers had offered solutions, but despite their efforts, the problems continued.

Patch 1.05 was designed to fix many of these issues… but PS3 owners are still not satisfied and many claim that the problems still exist.

    My game is constantly freezing. After 1,04 came a hotfix and the game worked fine for 2 weeks until 1,05 screwed it all up again.

    I got this game for Christmas and I've got to say after playing MW2 I'm very disappointed. I had to install the patch which was problem free but having read a few articles I keep getting "Connection Interrupted" and I got stuck in a black screen at one point which forced me to reset the console.

    Je signe trop de freeze maintenant quand j'allume ma console elle detecte plus le blu ray faut que jle resorte et remets a l'interieur pour qu'il le detecte et j'ai assisté à un freeze chez un ami qui a fait que le lecteur bluray de sa play ne marche plus un vrai scandale de laisser les choses tel qu'elle et de pas remboursé les joueurs alors qu'il cause des pannes au ps3

    yo no se como pudieron ganar 1000 millones de dolares con este juego , recontra lleno de bugs , desfasado en el apartado tecnico y con 4 parches que no solucionaron nada , ni en pc , ni en ps3 , que verguenza , solo vendieron saben porque, porque es call of duty , y eso hicieron aprovecharon el renombre de esta saga para vender un juego inacabado y lleno de errores.

    black ops sucks this game freezes constantly and the 1.05 patch was a waste they have no problem patching 3 gun glitches and barriar glitches on zombies but they cant fix the miltiplayer

    Due to black ops freezing my ps3 (once a day just to check for patches), now my eye isnt reading any other games. I have never once had any issue with disconnections, hard or soft freezes, or cd load failures, til I purchashed black ops for 65$.
    Now that I bought a new game, it doesnt want to read about 75% of the time. Saying An error occured during the start operation (80010514)

    The worst part is I know im completely screwed out of my 65$ for this sad game that broke my 400$ systems lens...

    Then explain why I don't have any issues online and was even able to join a party and played all day with only a couple of connection flaws. However the graphics do still suck. Did I mention that my cousins 360 version lags more than my ps3 version. But zombies always takes forever to connect. The single player is fun and all but I did see framerate drops during some missions, Not as bad as the Orange Box on ps3. So if i have the inferior version with a broken patch and less features. It is pretty good.
