The purpose of the petition is to show Activision, Inc. the support to have the multiplayer aspects for Call of Duty 4, Call of Duty World at War, and Call of Duty Modern Warfare 2 released again with security measures to prevent hacking and modding.
Many gamers enjoy returning to the older games to experience those thrills another time. However, due to lacking security measures and monitoring, these older games have been made unplayable by players who use unfair advantages.
What we request is for Activision, Inc. to begin a project to create versions of COD4, World at War, and MW2 for either a digital release or multi-game "anniversary" disc set with updated graphics, the newest anti-modding security features, active monitoring, and active community support while keeping all other gameplay aspects the same.
This petition will be sent to Activision as soon as enough signatures are made to truly show the support. By doing this, we as gamers will be happy, and Activision will be able to make more money.
