As members we are aware that the ballots are not kept in an independent vault or with an independent body; they are kept in the union office. To preserve the integrity of COBA, we the dues members of COBA are requesting from President Alonzo West, the Executive Board and the Election Committee to retain an independent body to conduct, supervise, and certify COBA elections. This is the same election process as NYC Corrections, NJ State Correction and other notable unions
