March 16, 2009 Hello ladies and gentlemen! As you know, my children as well as many others on Chicago’s south side, participate in Coach Rich’s Basketball Program at Tuley Park. Due to the proposed rate hike that the Chicago Park district is planning to impose, the program is at risk for shutting down. Now what you may NOT know is that this program has been extremely successful in: -Providing children from all over the city with a well structured physical outlet each week -Encourages repsonsibility, timeliness, and discipline -Helps to enhance listening skills and respect for others -Helps build and strengthen social skills -Has allowed local travel opportunities for those who have made the team -Has opened up numerous scholarship oppportunities to several teens participating in the program What do we need from you All we request is a simple signature.
