Name: Elizabeth Dodson on Jul 15, 2008Comments: Jodee was not only an incredible coach, she havs been a huge part of Franklin. Her dedication went far beyond her teams and into the classrooms, the students and the activities that made Franklin such an amazing experience on so many levels. With Jodee no longer a part of Franklin, I fear that it would become very one dimensional.Class year (if applicable):Flag

Name: Mark A. Tessier on Jul 15, 2008Comments: I have known Jodee since the early 90's. My first reaction upon meeting her was how could someone so short be a volleyball coach - I regularly called her the midget. She way short in statue but tall in class. Over the years that she coached my daughter to the only 4 consecutive year Franklin State Championship, I learned how tall she is. Sir, I have been in various businesses for over 40 years. I understand the concept of a new broom sweeping clean. I do not know you but I do I know Jodee and, if this is your introductory act, then Franklin - which I have known since the 60's - is in for a rough ride. Graditude for being hired by a small board should not be expressed by genuflecting at the altar of a vindictive parent group. Franklin has had a proud history and deservedly so - thus far, you have impugned its history and character. You might just want to re-visit its history and its place in the academic circles of New Orleans.Class year (if applicable):Flag

I have known Jodee Pulizzano for 22 years and have seen her blossom into a professional and caring educator. She is an asset to any faculty - Franklin needs to reexamine its decision.Class year (if applicable):Flag

Name: Alexis Tessier on Jul 15, 2008Comments: I played volleyball for Jodee for 4 years at Franklin. No one in high school had more influence on me than she did - I became better athlete, student and person having her in my life - and I know my parents would agree. This is a very sad day for Franklin.Class year (if applicable): 1997Flag

Name: Lauren O'Connor Raymer on Jul 15, 2008Comments: I cannot believe that a school would fire a teacher possibly based on the grumblings of a few students after years of hard work and dedication. I played for Jodee for 4 amazing years and truly feel like my experience at Franklin would have not been the same without her. Franklin is at a tremendous loss without her. Jodee is the main reason for the programs success and to think someone who put so much of their life, heart, and soul could be punished in such a way. I truly saddened by the schools decision and wish they would reconsider. And if they don't another school will get to have her as a teacher and coach and Franklin will be less of a school because of it!Class year (if applicable): Class of 1997 and member of Jodee's State championship volleyball team of 93, 94, 95, 96.Flag
