Mr. Brian Harris, currently the assistant chief of probation at the Somerville District Court, Mass. and also serves as an 18 year vetran of coaching at Somerville High School, Mass. After a numerous amount of championships won, an uncountable amount of years of dedication, determination, hard work, etc, he is being asked to re-apply for his job as coach of the girls basketball team. For years and years, students, athlete\'s, staff and facilty have stood beside Brian, looked up to him, cheered for him, supported him in ways schools can only dream about. What an amazing group. It takes an certain type of person to do what Brian does. After dealing with the department of probation all day, he still reports to practices, games, rally\'s in good spirit, with his head down , ready to work. Always maintaining his composure, but always standing behind his team. The city of Somerville, people young and old, can not understand why now, as a new director comes in, he is being asked to change his coaching ways, as well reapply for his position. I have gathered quite a few names from facebook so far, but, I think Brian would appreciate the amount of people I know want to say something about this situation. I am appauled at the actions of the Somerville High School athletic department, and all of its staff. It has already been leaked to the media, and I hope it turns out for the best
