We the parents of Montclair Pop Warner participants are requesting that Coach Landon Crawford be moved up to the Pee Wee level for the 2012 football season. Coach Landon along with Assistant Coaches Wayne Coates, Gary Robinson, Mike Batts, and Frank Best have instilled in our children the true meaning of sportsmanship. Discipline is important in this sport and was not lacking in the 2011 season. However all areas of improvement were coached in a constructive manner as to not belittle our children or deter them from loving and appreciating the sport of football. This request does not come as a result of winning a championship game. This petition is in recognition of the Coaches genuine care for our children. It is clear that these coaches focus on putting your best foot forward. They teach our children that doing their best makes them winners. There was never a fear of the potential consequences of losing a game but instead a strong motivation to do their best in an effort to display loyalty to a coaching team that was loyal to them. Please take these signatures and comments into consideration as you begin to develop the coaching structure for the 2012 season.
