This would be beneficial to the city on two fronts; alternative commuting and increasing access to recreational activities.Flag

Name: Anonymous on Feb 11, 2008Full Name (public): Tim GillisComments (public): The Fairmount community is sorely lacking park space. Although named "Drillio Park", the field off of Downs Ave is a small sports field with no natural beauty (trees and small shrubs should be added to the perimeter of the field to help make it more park like). The addition of a maintained trail connecting to the existing rails to trails system would be a much welcomed and needed piece of recreational infrastructure for the surrounding communities.Flag
