| 157 | Mrs Duncan | Having lived in Toronto and used the services of the CNIB, I feel this store should remain open. It is of great benefit not only to people needing the CNIB's assistance but also for the general public and those needing information. It is very sad that CNIB feels the need to close a vital service used by many. |
| 158 | Anonymous | the store needs to remain open. Although i am not legally blind, i have very poor vision and am severely physically disabled (cerebral palsy, quadriplegic, power wheelchair user). because of my disability and poor vision i cannot see a clock or set am alarm from my bed.through the CNIB I found the answer to my years of nightime fears, and dependancies-a keychain talking alarm clock. i agree in the importance of being able to try out items before buying, and the problems of using credit cards ,shipping costs, and the physical problems of returning items if they are not correct. |

| 164 | Joseph MacDougald | I have ordered quite a few things through this store and over the next couple of years will need many more things as I am now COMPLETELY, TOTALLY BLIND. The CNIB has been a great benefit to me, and the store offers me things I can't get anywhere else. I'm sure I speak for thousands of people who don't even know about this petition. (I just discovered it now) when I say you do all CNIB members a disservice by closing down. |
