| 556 | Dr. A Mughal | Despite the complete shambles and serial mistakes of the MMC system, Sir Liam has denied the obvious and claimed success. I find this both dishonest, hypocritical and incompetent.
Should anyone conduct this kind of behaviour in direct patient care they would be struck off. Yet by affecting the medical workforce, the impact on patient care is enormous. Resignation is the least he can do. I do not feel he is fit to practise. |
| 557 | Maureen Douglas | If Dr Donaldson knew anything at all about Medical Education, he could not support MMC as planned, have a conscience and still sleep at night. |

| 560 | Dr David Bramble | The author of a whole raft of mostly bureaucratic useless exercises which stared with the bewildering shibboleth of 'clinical governance' and which has culminated in the MMC/MTAS fiasco which has endangered the future of his (and my) profession and thereby the health of the British nation, must now fall on his sword. |
| 561 | Alison Timmis | MMC will be dangerous to patients, soul-destroying for doctors and the end of the NHS (but, hey, isn't that the point) |

| 566 | Daniel Thio | In my opinion, Mr Donaldson is a pathetic excuse of a CMO. He is nothing but a government crony who has sold his soul and his profession to further his own ambitions. He does not represent the views of doctors and certainly does not hold their respect. Sir in name but not in stature. |
| 567 | Dr Stephen Doyle | Worst mess in my 35 years as a doctor. |

| 572 | Norman Davies | He has presided over a complete and utter shambles. The changes he has introduced are bad for patients, bad for doctors and bad for society. Shame on him! |

| 580 | lauren filby | I wholeheartedly agree that Donaldson should be held accountable for the shameful debarcle that has been the MTAS implementation, and the flawed underlying principles of MMC. |

| 584 | Anonymous | So obviously a New Labour lackey. Has done unprecendented harm to his profession. |
| 585 | Sarah Spencer | GMC No 4092449, Emergency Medicine Consultant |
| 586 | Anonymous | The MMC/MTAS is a needless disgrace. Donaldson, stand up and take responsibility for this balls up. Fall on your sword. Much like our careers have ended, so should yours. |
| 587 | J Newman | The MTAS system is a prime example of why patients will never be able to trust the government to keep their records secure. God help us if 60 million people ever have digital patient records and identity cards if they can't even run an IT system to place 18, 500 doctors in training posts.
MMC is just downright reckless and irresponsible. It is based on floored science. The responsibility for this shambles falls with the royal colleges, PMETB and the BMA but ultimately if the government don't sort it out they will loose a lot of votes when on August the first the public realise that they have much less emergency health care due to a serious lack of front line doctors. |

| 592 | Anonymous | You had a choice - professional integrity or political expediency. Your only defence could be - " I was only following orders" |
| 593 | Nicholas Robertson | |
| 594 | Dr Clare Gardner | |
| 595 | Ross Vint | In an attempt to address problems of our old system of training MMC has only made a horrifically worse alternative that now contains an air of exasperated laughter about it all. I have had the falsehood of "well rounded training" by rigid 2 year rotations designed to fill unpopular posts rather than let me perform in areas of interest where I would naturally perform better. This is one the essences of professionalism that is being demolished. I believe that the carrying out of MMC is a failure and I also am opposed to its principles. I therefore cannot support your position. |
| 596 | Patrick Naughton-Doe | Complete lack of integrity. Surely resignation is the only honourable route left open. |
