This petition is for anyone that feels that they have an error reporting on their credit that may be causing them financial strain. Statistically, 79% of all credit reports have at least one error. One error can cost a consumer anywhere from 4 credit score points to 60 credit score points. Consumers are financing more and more everyday, and the chances of the credit being accurate are very slim. This means that the interest fees and down payments are considerably higher because of the lower, inaccurate credit score. Consumers need to know that their credit score is valid before they make any financial decisions that involve their personal credit rating.
