I have an 18 year old son who has a medical condition, he smoked King B and has become extremely ill from it. A week after smoking it he has extreme muscle weakness, exhaustion to the point where he is awake for 5 out of 24 hours a day.  His life and his whole final year in school has been put in jeopardy and we are left with a shell of the loving, talented happy strong minded son we used to have!!  He is under the care of the doctors and I am unsure of long term side affects on him at this stage!!

This is only one story and I am sure there are many others.  I have met other teenagers who have smoked it! King B made them have freak attacks where people they thought they were dying and others who thought they were going blind and deaf.

This is a very serious and endangering situation for the youth of today.

It is up to us now as parents to put our concerned voices forward to ask the government to ban King B smoke which should not be available in the head shops.  The ideal would be to ban head shops in Cork altogether, as there is no safe testing or legislation to protect the young vulnerable people in our city.

I appeal to everyone to sign this petition so we can get King B Smoke banned and ban head shops in Cork City and throughout Ireland.
