The Surabaya Zoo in Indonesia is called the Zoo of Death, and is a living nightmare for the animals there. The zoo mistreats the animals so terribly, that they don't get basic essentials like proper nutrition, veterinary care, or even interaction with their own kind.
25 animals die each month from unnatural causes, and most of the other animals are starving.
A representative from Cee4life delivered the last petition. Their latest update said, “The zoo is not going to close down anytime soon, and the animals cannot be re-homed due to diseases. Cee4life has been supplying diet information, along with enclosure and enrichment.
They were able to rescue Melani the tiger and it is said that she is doing well. The animals need aid and we are doing everything we can to do that. There are 4 other people coming at the end of April to try and also help.”
I have decided that it would not be appropriate to post images along with this petition as they are very upsetting to see. Although these images are available for viewing online.
The misery these animals endure is heart breaking so please help me to spread this petition far and wide!

I want to help shut down the zoo of death in idonesia because i love animals and dont want them to die
This is disgusting, this place should be shut down. I’m surprised that no one has done anything so I am all up for this petition.
I would like to say that this is a terrible way to treat animals that don’t even belong to us. Humans only care about profit and money and not the other lives of animals or other living things.
Please close down this zoo! Its inhumane and obviously the animals are neglected and not cared for, fed etc!!
Please don't let this cruelty go on! It's completely barbaric and no animal deserves to be treated the way they're being treated in this "zoo". I hope you reach your goal.

This zoo I've heard horrible stuff about it the hung a lion that's a red flag we need peace with animals this so HAS to be be shut down and free these animals
